Development communications and community engagement
Helping planners and developers to share clear proposals with the right people, at the right time. Working with communities to ensure they have all the information they need to help them prepare for change and can engage in the process in a positive way.
About me
I’m Lorna Byrne, a marketing communications and public relations professional, who has worked with businesses in various industries over the last 30 years.
Most of my experience has been gained in the built environment, managing the communications that surround major construction, infrastructure, housebuilding and regeneration projects.
I’m currently based in Cheshire, but I’ve lived and worked in many different parts of the UK, including 18 years in Central London, so I’m usually popular with pub quiz team captains!
I work part-time (about four hours per day), but I’m always very responsive.
You can often find me outside, preferably with a dog at my feet. Wildlife watching is a lifelong interest, which started with garden birds, so I have a particular fondness for anything with feathers!
Why Raven?
My surname, Byrne, is derived from the Irish name Ó Broin, meaning descendants of Branach or Bran, “the raven”. When you consider my love of birds and hear that the Tower of London is my favourite heritage site, the choice of business name makes perfect sense!
